2.) It was my nephew and niece’s first backpacking trip on a Greyhound (yey for adventure!).
3.) After crossing the Pacific, I was finally going to meet up with my high-school friend, Mace!

Mi Casa Es Su Casa

Welcome to Casa Loma.

One of the things I didn’t count on finding in Toronto was a ‘medieval’ castle. There it was, the majestic and imposing Casa Loma, perched atop a hill overlooking downtown Toronto.

Perhaps one of the most famous residences in the world, the castle has been once THE place to be seen; it was also the setting for recent flicks such as X-Men and Harry Potter. Almost looks like a warphole out of the sky, doesn't it?

A guidebook wisely advised that if in Toronto, you might as well make the CN Tower your first stop, as you almost can’t shake off the sight whilst strolling downtown.

The book was right — even indoors, souvenirs and shirts flaunt the city’s iconic attraction. The CN Tower offers a lot of different ways to enjoy the spaceship-like steeple, ranging from buffets with 360-degree views to heart-stopping edge walks. Continue reading Want to Chill? See the CN Tower!
